The Guardian of the Summit

At the Northern edge of the Hexenwerk Summit stands a terrifying, yet friendly, monster. It guards the confluence of all roads - a place that, in blue-sky days, symbolizes peace where mothers and children once walked. The monster occasionally rests upon the three benches. Approach him kindly, but without showing fear. He will inspect you closely and will check your station before you even realize it. Once done, you must retreat swiftly, lest the creature succumb to a sudden rage outbreak that could cost you your precious life.
